If you havent noticed. we have been working on cloudflare. we have been getting the famous site is offline retry for a live version error. the site is and was live. it was an error related to the railgun service. Supposedly it is fixed. running test to make sure its working

if you receive an error like this. notify me right away. give me the date/time and the link you where trying to get to as well as the error that was populated.
i am activly working with cloudflare and the hosting company to resolve this quick and efficiently.

thanks

Hi there,

Please clear your local browser cache and try once more, we show your site online and do not show any cloudflare error on your site at this time after randomly clicking about.

Please let us know if there is anything further we can do for you.

Best Regards

Got the same error as glenn (except in English). Was solved by simply waiting a minute and clicking the link, so it's not particularly problematic.

it actually is problematic. its related to the redirect service we are using for the www. aka squid. i keep telling them that the issue is that. they keep blaming cloudflare. if it does not clear up in 24 hours like they said it should since its cloudflares fault. i will be reopening the ticket.

Butler, I had that problem yesterday when I typed in the url bar "insomniacservers.com" but I don't seem to have the problem when I add "www" in front of it. Nor do I have the problem when I search Yahoo!

Skitty

well for some strange odd reason when i use the servers fowarding system aka squid. it would mess up. but when i turned it off and use smf's fowarding system it works.

Skitty

its also not a problem when you type it. the forums/server is supposed to automatically put the www. for the subdomain so cloudflare can work and do its magic with anycast. by having this issue with the squid redirecting system you get the error file not found issue. that is not the site or my or cloudflare's fault. it is bugged up and by blaming cloudflare it is a scapegoat for the issue. i am using smf's redirection tool to change all users from the root domain http://insominacservers.com to the subdomain http://www.insomniacservers.com and since ive been using that redirect tool nothing has been going wrong. so it is safe to say with or without cloudflare on. as long as squid is not utalized the forums will not give an error. and unfortunately we need squid to operate.
