Hey bren i've been thinking on moving on to your Creative server,
i'm kinda tired of classic ( mostly because of its lack of users)

what kind of addons / texture packs do you recomend me?
Work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger.
More than ever hour after our work is never over.

I don't use any texture packs or client side addons myself.
thealex447, kidd2000 and a few others use them quite a bit and could point you in the right direction.

Zombe has a lot of stuff included in its mod pack./

It can be a bit tricky to learn how to install though.

As for what Texture Packs to use the top two that people seem to be using are

Voxel Box's Palceon Pack - replaces useless blocks with new textures for creative servers.

Dokucraft the saga continues a great all around texture pack with a bit of an RPG flare

Blitz, many of us on the creative server have rested upon a pack called "palceon" by the voxel box.  It's probably the perfect pack for you, as it is heavily a creative pack, replacing some of the usual blocks used in survival with a different, useful texture!

It is really the best pack I've ever used, and since many of our builds are beginning to be built with it, there's no better time than now to start using it!

And also, I was just on classic today checking out the build off, and I saw blitz's builds and thought, "WHY WON'T HE COME BUILD ON CREATIVE!?!?!."
Though not of this world, The Juwayyid finds human kind to be a tolerable enough species to hang around with.

TEXTURE PACK?! OH YEAH!!! eh... voxelbox pangea pack is gone... shit...
Hmmm... I will recommend the Palceon Pack by The Voxel Box since it has many different textures especially for creative builds.

Mods/addons?
Zombe's mod - fly
                      - cheat
                      - build
Practice is good but I'd like to say it is not everything. Some people hit a 'plateau' and they practice for hours and hours but they just don't seem to get any better. It is mental. Escape the fate. There is no destiny because you can make your own. Talent does not exist, or if it does I do not have it. There is no such thing as gifted. If someone can do it, if it's possible, I can do it. You and I can become infinitely better. Maybe natural talent does exist, but it really doesn't matter because i'll overcome it. Fuck talent, fuck biology, and fuck a diceroll. I want to be the best and I'll rise no matter what. It's this psycho attitude which makes me 'so good'. -Wonderland (tf2 pro soldier/rocket jumper)
Well, for addons, if you want to play multiplayer and singleplayer without the transfer of .minecraft files, I'd recommend the "cheetah" mod pack. This has all of the multiplayer essentails like Ries mini map, smartmover and much more.

For Texture packs I personally dont choose the main stream like ones. Another opinion is that I only use 32bit and 16bit. Thoes that are any higher make minecraft not blocky. Destroying one of the things that makes minecraft minecraft. Also I'm currently making a texture pack, but I keep forgetting to post the darn file.

I'm personally a fan of the DokuCraft texture pack.

I use zombes and the Vhax client they both are good but I like the fly and x-ray better on zombes. and I used to use dokucraft as my texture.

If you suck at modding and want most of the goodies listed above, use the VoxelModPack. It has Zombe, MCpatcher, all the VoxelBox texturepacks, in-game texturepack switching, keybinding, improved chat, minimap, and more. All you do is double click and it will auto install as long as you have a clean minecraft.jar. I have used it for a long time, even before I got into the VoxelBox

If Minecraft doesnt run smoothly or quickly on your computer, I recommend Optifine. It also patches HD textures like MCpatcher, however it will not work with MCpatcher. If you plan to use the VoxelModPack, you will have to un-check MCpatcher. It does require you to install it like a normal mod though.

If you dont want the modpack, I highly recommend you get optifine. I has given me a 20+ fps boost.
