Actually, forget about BeamNG. I am now more excited by "Next Car Game" (hopefully just a working title) which is made by Bugbear, the team behind the original FlatOut games which I enjoyed immensely.

I know this type of game isn't of particular interest to most of you, who prefer more fantasy-based stuff, but I always had a soft spot for vehicular action, guns and destruction (especially if combined) so I figured I'd do my bit to help publicise this crowdfunded game.

I played the tech demo on my machine last night, doing much of the stuff shown in this video, and the physics engine runs so smoothly on my mid-range i5 rig.

"Next Car Game" looks really great. The cars seem less jelly-like than the ones in BeamNG. I will eagerly await the release on steam.

Figured I'd revive this by adding "Besiege" to the list since it is currently getting some attention. I've been playing it for an hour and it's great. Plenty of depth without being too complex or glitchy (I'm lookin' at you, Garry's mod).
Here's hoping they can work some multiplayer into it somehow in the future.

Honorable mentions go to Scraps and MAV which are both vehicular construction/combat games that are in early access.

Can you imagine the chaotic fun this would bring? Like having two giant weird mechanisms high five each other after gassing and igniting some knights on fire and destroying the castle.
