pusur44017: Perhaps, since it being the first downside you mention they will correct it this time?
Glenn: Sure, but it's still a good sign :)
Jahona: partners =/= third party games
Glenn: Don't think we have to worry about that: https://youtu.be/YdD7fD-buVc
Jahona: The problem with Nintendo consoles is that no 3rd party content = paper weight.

I like the concept of the console. It takes the Wii U and improves upon it. My problem is that Microsoft and Sony are pushing hardware power as well as a very similar architecture. Building for the Xbox One or PS4 is fairly linear paths. With the Switch you won't be able to have near the same performance in it's form factor.
Here is a pretty cool video talking with an actor from the commercial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQu0hyYcnR4 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQu0hyYcnR4)

Are you saying that Microsoft and Sony are developing better performance in the same form factor? The uniqueness is the portability and simplicity I think. Have we seen specs yet?

Here. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaUjoH9ZTVo)
Darth's right though, third party is going to what cuts it. Skyrim on the Switch would be amazing, and even Payday (overkill is 'partnered').
Partnered will hopefully lead to games, but remember that the Wii U had a similar list of partners, and look at it now.
