thealex447: Hey! That post is socialist!

Skittlez: I'm beggining to get the feeling that people label anything they don't like as "socialism"

Krawkyz: Converse of that statement: I do pay you nothing to do nothing. :p
November 08, 2012, 09:38:22 PM

Skitty: i dont pay you nothing to do nothing.
November 08, 2012, 09:13:16 PM

Skitty: like i said read policy. now get back to work.
November 08, 2012, 09:12:54 PM

Skitty: @krawky if i was to shun you i would remove your abilities and kick you. simple i dont shun people for opinions of beleifs or views. i could care less. also heres some good reading. [link]      [link]       [link]       [link]       [link]
November 08, 2012, 09:12:31 PM

Skitty: i dont watch msnbc or fox or cnn. i read.
November 08, 2012, 08:53:03 PM

darthjahona: How about we drop the politics and get back to Minecraft.  Servers are up GET BACK TO WORK!!!!
November 08, 2012, 08:47:00 PM

Kenyor: Shut up about politics!
November 08, 2012, 08:32:26 PM

Krawkyz: I didn't press enter, stupid computer. We spend more on Medicare Annually than Defense/Wars. We spend more on Social Security Annually than Defense/Wars. US Total Debt is $58 Trillion, $186,633 person. "U.S. Public Debt Subject to Limit" is $16 Trillion, $51,610 per person. That's more than Greece. It wasn't more than Greece 4 years ago.
November 08, 2012, 07:52:01 PM

Krawkyz: Sorry about the triple post, but
November 08, 2012, 07:47:32 PM

Krawkyz: Also, social security is what we spend the most on annually in the U.S.
November 08, 2012, 07:46:07 PM

Krawkyz: So you keep saying shit about fox, and then you dismiss political stuff. Well, stop watching msnbc, all the shit you've gotten is off msnbc. I did not derive ANY of that off of FOX news, It's not Obamacare, its "Affordable Care Act" and Obamacare is a fast way of saying that. Maybe if you opened your eyes and stopped closing them, you'd see some things different. I never said to make money we cant spend anything. You cannot opt out of health insurance without getting taxed. The 10,000 pages of the Affordable Care Act are, in fact, very unreasonable. Please stop acting like msnbc and shun all who disagree with you.
November 08, 2012, 07:45:24 PM

Skitty: now keep the political stuff off the forums and keep it private. server is1 is up.
November 08, 2012, 06:41:20 PM

Skitty: how bills and laws come up. [link]
November 08, 2012, 06:40:59 PM

thealex447: Guess what repubs? Obama ripped off Romney's healthcare plan to create "obamacare"
November 08, 2012, 06:28:37 PM

Skitty: so now lets sum it up. stop watching fox since most of what you said was driven off of fox news. start reading policy and start reading watchdog sites. and follow money. cause that 23trillion is for the wars we started. since you know our military cost alot of money.
November 08, 2012, 06:27:54 PM

Skitty: so to make money we cant spend anything..... ok. so lets practice that. let imagine the war. no money spent. no armor/weapons. let us imagine public items. post office, public utilities, social (socialism) security. etc etc etc. its easy to say all these things now practice it. hard isnt it? you can also opt out of government oriented healthcare since that was it is NOT OBAMACARE. it was naemd that to put a spin on it. stop watching fox news and start reading policy. and you would realize much of what you want done was tried to put into effect but there are people out there who do not want that to be done. [link] link to government "obamacare" health care.
November 08, 2012, 06:26:41 PM

BananaSquats: [link]  Everyone calm down, and take your minds off of politics for a minute.....
November 08, 2012, 06:01:05 PM

Krawkyz: Obamacare is a load of random ideas put into one that don't work. Here's four. One: If you don't have healthcare (AKA you can't pay for it) you get taxed more. So poverty = more poverty? Two: If your healthcare doesn't cost a lot (mine used to cost $50 a week for the entire family), then you're in for a longshot. It taxes that. No longer do I pay $50 a week, its $120 a week. Three: Companies no longer need to give healthcare to their workers. They only did it before to bring people in for the benefits. Now since the ObamaCare taxations, they no longer have the need to bring people in with healthcare benefits. The system actually gives a TAX BREAK to this! Four: Spending. We don't need to spend anymore, considering we already have third party insurances. If you can't pay for healthcare, there are only two reasons why: You did things in life that cause you to get less money (aka your fault), or you just don't feel like getting any. We don't need to spend ANY more money than we already are, but since Obama is still in office, expect the debt to easily go above $23 trillion.
November 08, 2012, 05:16:35 PM

darthjahona: I've got healthcare through military benifits from my Dad and from his work.  I've been covered as far as healthcare goes but I know people who do not have it and refuse to see a doctor just because of the cost just to step through the door, so to say.  The issue I have with obamacare was the fact that there wasn't a way to opt out if you already had healthcare originally.  I believe it was added in at the end of the bill but don't quote me.  It would have taxed everyone instead of allowing for third party healthcare.  But meh anyways I'm under the impression that we just need to put a clean slate through out the entire government.  Start Fresh.
November 08, 2012, 03:23:35 PM

Skitty: and its only labeled as socialism so that way the country can be devided. (democrats, republicans, liberals, teaparty) the country is so divided and nobody notices the shit that goes down daily because they worry about getting healthcare. its fucking sad.
November 08, 2012, 02:02:12 PM

Skitty: ikr. heres something i tell everybody. i want that "obamacare" and if you dont want it OPT OUT. but dont and i mean DONT expect me to pay for you when you get sick. SIMPLE.
November 08, 2012, 01:55:03 PM

bren4q: Most developed countries have a small degree of "socialism" built into their economy. State funded healthcare is pretty normal, but only America labels it as "socialism" as if it is a bad thing.
November 08, 2012, 11:11:01 AM

Kenyor: It's funny what you guys classify as socialism
November 08, 2012, 10:15:28 AM

pusur44017: hmm....this is getting enoying now, whenever I try to post of send a PM I get the session timed out error by the forum. I try to refresh but it still doen't work. Any suggestions?
November 08, 2012, 08:11:58 AM

pusur44017: but our health care and pension and all that is great
November 08, 2012, 07:17:54 AM

pusur44017: well be glad you don't have this guy... he has been high up since ages... 16 of them actually so now there is 1 store close to me that isn't part of the same group and the rest is basicly diffrent sizes of the same store with all the same prices and different stuff so that you have  to go everywere to get your groceries. There was a recent cock-up whitin his party, his friend recruted his own friends to work high up without the right education. So conclution = little bit of both is good
November 08, 2012, 07:16:08 AM

Krawkyz: Liberals often tend to lean towards socialism. Obama has placed in many reforms, such as ObamaCare, that act as a socialist law.
November 08, 2012, 07:04:40 AM

Skitty: like?
November 08, 2012, 01:29:44 AM

darthjahona: His early agenda and even a lot of the reforms that he pushed later on were influenced by socialism.
November 08, 2012, 01:11:18 AM

Skittlez: Obama= Socialism? What?
November 08, 2012, 01:07:38 AM

darthjahona: To late Alex he needed another 4% for the abililty to go from third party to major candadite.
November 07, 2012, 05:44:38 PM

Mudman: It doesn't matter whos president. The world is still going to end in a month and 2 weeks.

November 07, 2012, 10:39:09 AM

darthjahona: Also 4 more years of socialism.
November 07, 2012, 10:38:43 AM

What happened to "no" political crap on the forum :/, I feel this will just cause fights.
Those that don't know pain can never know true peace!

Ejay845

NOOOOOOO- PLEASE DELETE THIS POST!
IT WILL CAUSE MAJOR FIGHTS AND DISPUTES!!!
This is the gaming world! The only politics we care about
is when games will come out, how much they cost, and who's making them and what the game is!!!
[spoiler][/spoiler]

Jaysers

Agreed with Ejay.
Unless Obama is going to pass a bill that's going against online gaming and online interactions via games, please people, let's keep politics out of this server. Obama won. Whoopdefreakingdoo. Get over it people, there's no need to spark a debate because of the presidential race (which ended, if you didn't get the memo already)
"To regret is to make an experience that of suffering. I do not regret the time spent, but rather wish it was spent on something else."

Kidd2000

This isn't about the race. It was about calling things Obama did a socialist thing. I don't think we can't have politics in the forums. PK did. Also, people can stop posting in forums they don't like and find unhelpful. The topic will die and so will the trend. It's really simple guys, but you're using a butter knife rather than precision tool to cut out the unnecessary.

Ejay845

I get why this post was made actually. So that people weren't arguing in the chat box lol.
But either way, we can have politics in IS. Just not on this elecction, because  a lot of/most
of the Mitt Romney voters were super angry and are very touchy on the campaign subject.
Obama voters should try their best to be understanding and all.

But yeah, ppl feel free to argue and crap in this post. Just don't cross the line and start
going off topic and cracking on the people that voted for whoever, or just cracking on whoever
you're arguing with! This topic was meant for arguments and debates to break out lol.

But the nuetral people, or people who don't want to fight and/or have a big temper I suggest you don't
post in this topic xD - let the games begin!

bren4q

Yes, this is a gaming forum. But we are all mature enough (I hope) that we can talk about things other than games without it turning into a fight.

Topics should be a discussion, not a debate. If someone feels that they can't make a point without becoming overly opinionated or aggressive, or without reasonable respect for what others believe, then please exclude yourself from this topic.

For everyone else who can reasonably share their points of view, please do so.
