Survival Server Diamond Ore/"Protection Stones"

It seems that on the survival server the diamond ores weren't able to be mined..., also placing diamond ores didn't protect any areas. I've traded a diamond ore from Kepanos earlier yesterday, and upon placing, it didn't protect nor get removed then. Now it seems that its PS properties are gone, since I'm able to mine diamond ores like vanilla, and receive a diamond item in return. I would like some clearance on this, and also my diamond PS ore back please.

There was an attempt to change diamond protection stones to emerald stones.  Things got messy so the were changed back to diamond.  There are many problems that need fixing, so come on ops!

My Particular Case is solved, but admins, please do see if any other problems need a little tweak here and there.
