I need help accessing the beta you guys have setup. Any time I would click on the link, my browser would say that the webpage is unavailable. I am not sure if the problem might be that I may or may not have Minecraft 1 v.1 but either way I do not know where to download it.

Recently when I try to use Wom to log-in to the classic server it would come back with a error message saying that, the Server port, Server IP, Passcode and User were all missing. Then it would give me the options of "retry" "cached" and "quit". Cached does not work for me either.

ALSO, when I play minecraft in browser (because Wom is broken) i am not able to use the /j command to join worlds without lagging and getting the error message: "Java SE binary not responding" "Terminate?". Then I would have to close the webpage and open a new one to play again.....

I have a lump sum of problems and i need help! thank you!!

Thank you,
Amreek

Both of the Classic servers are running ok. The server list in WOM seems to have quite a few duplicate entries for Insomniac Classic, and some don't work.
The current server URLs will always be shows on minecraft.net. If you log into minecraft.net and find Insomniac servers you can copy the addresses from there into WOM.

Current server URLs which you can copy into WOM and connect:
IS1: http://www.minecraft.net/classic/play/444b15b895174cc275cd9dcd4aaa4518
IS2: http://www.minecraft.net/classic/play/999c0dbec2b73559bd9142504d3ff1cc

For the Java problem, the general advice for Minecraft users is:
- Uninstall Java 7
- Uninstall Java 6
- Download and re-install Java 6

To play Beta you need to copy the server address into the game. Select the address and copy it from the web page. Then run Minecraft and Join Game. Select "Direct connection" and press "CTRL + V" to paste the address into the box.

Note: the Creative beta server is currently offline.
Surplus to requirements

I re-installed java 6 and used the direct connect link, but Wom still just says "connecting..." with an empty loading bar....

You have a pet chicken? Bad-ass bro.

(I have used up my "Post anything you want" ticket. Thanks!)

How good is you're connection? It could be just connecting and taking a long time. I think that the whole Jave thing can differ with certain computers but I'm no Java expert.

Actually I have ten chickens, that is just one of them.

I am also on vacation all over the states meeting other families in other states every week, so I do not know much about the internet connections...
